Anxiety
Hypnosis is of enormous help in reducing anxiety levels, though there are two distinctly different methods of treatment. Whether you need help for a 'one-off' situation like a driving test, for example, or a more persistent and possibly deeper-rooted problem, Hypnosis can help you. The best method for any individual can really only be determined by consultation, many people finding that two or three sessions, spread over a month or so, are sufficient.

Depression
Depression comes in many guises. From general sadness and lack of self worth to profound chemical imbalances as within Bi-Polar Disorder. It can be caused by many factors, including bereavement, unresolved childhood issues or pre-disposition.
However one thing is true within all areas of depression and that is, if you continue to do as you have been doing the symptoms will remain. A change needs to be made.
Hypnotherapy can help in several ways. We can get to the route emotional cause by revisiting childhood memories, we can use Cognitive Behaviour Therapy within hypnosis to reprogramme negative habits into positive ones and we can teach techniques and coping strategies to help deal with everyday stresses and self doubt.

Quitting Smoking
This therapy is, quite simply, the best available. The success rate is far higher than you might imagine - in fact, some surveys have shown it to be definitely one of the most effective methods of quitting. No drugs are used and there are no unpleasant side effects; many people experience no withdrawal symptoms and little or no craving, so if you're determined to kick the habit, it REALLY CAN HELP. A single 90 minute session is all that is necessary.

Habits
Habitual actions are part of our coping mechanism. They are a stress response that can be reduced or eliminated with hypnotherapy by using suggestion to break the cycle of stress, action/action, stress.

Confidence Building
We all suffer with a lack of confidence sometimes in our lives. Be it making a speech, meeting new people or just a general feeling of being unconfident.
Hypnotherapy can help. For a particular event by using suggestion, or for more deep rooted feelings of inadequacy by using analysis.

Phobias and Fears
When you have a fear or phobia that you really cannot get to grips with however hard you try, no amount of well-intentioned 'help' from friends or family is likely to solve the problem - it can even make things worse. Although it may seem impossible to you now, hypnotherapy can help to remove the problem so that you could simply forget it ever existed in the first place. Using only the right sort of therapy means that you won't replace one fear with another, either.
It is often believed that the only way to overcome deep-rooted fears is to somehow 'face up' to the feared experience. You may rest assured that this is simply not the case and you will therefore not be subjected to any type of exposure therapy.

Psychosexual Problems
Unless there is a physical dimension, sexual disorders will normally be rooted in childhood and we are definitely not necessarily talking about abuse.

Past Life Regression
Past life regression therapy is based upon the premise that we are eternal beings who carry forward learning and experiences from one lifetime to another. Experiencing physical life within a series of bodies/personalities.
On a soul level, we choose each life as a means of learning the lessons we have set out for ourselves.
Of course, many people believe we only live one human lifetime. In this case, the stories elicited by this therapeutic approach serve as metaphors for the issues and situations being faced in the present time.
Whether uncovering “real” past lives or not, the approach has helped many people resolve issues that were resistant to other approaches. As well as being a fascinating way to experience other aspects of ones personality.
